Lords of Alexstrasza Raiding Policy
A. 25-MAN POLICY
Sign-Ups:
i. Sign-Ups will be done in-game through the Calendar.
ii. The calendar invite will go out to everyone in the guild.
iii. Signing up for an event will mean you are able to attend at least 50% of the scheduled time.
vi. If you cannot attend the entire event, let your class leader or the raid leader know before accepting the invite.
Invites:
i. Invites will be handed out by the Raid Leader.
ii. Raid invites will go out to those online and ready to raid at 7 PM server on scheduled raid nights.
iii. Invites will be done initially using the calendar sign-ups. If you fail to sign up, you may be waitlisted.
vi. Questions or complaints regarding invites should be taken up with leadership outside the scheduled raid time.
B. 10-MAN POLICY
i. 10-mans may be organized by the guild during a 25-man raid night if the raid leader decides it is most beneficial.
ii. Otherwise, there is no official 10-man schedule and most decisions (invites, loot, etc.) are at the discretion of the group leader.
iii. DKP is not used in 10-mans.
C. Loot Distribution
i. Loot will be given out via DKP.
ii. All members can view a complete set of DKP rules as well as current standings on the guild DKP website (http://dkp.lordsofalex.net).
iii. Bind on Equip items:
- BoE items are placed up for bid as with all items.
- Members cannot spend DKP to obtain BoE items for a character not in the raid.
- You must equip the item. Selling guild items is grounds for guild removal.
- If if the item is not bid on, the Bank Officer will place the item up for sale at a later point to anyone in the guild (including alts).
vi. Crafting Items (i.e. Runed Orb, Heart of Darkness, Engineering Bosses, Frost Lotus, etc.) will be given to the Bank Officer or, if gathered, placed in the guild bank.
D. Consumables
i. All raiders in 25man content will be required to have max consumables at all times.
E. Schedule
i. Raid Nights will be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Monday.
F. Attendance
i. LoA maintains a 50% raid attendance policy.
ii. Invites will go out at 7 PM on raid nights.
iii. Those in the raid are responsible to be ready to raid as soon as they are invited. Anyone not ready to raid at 7:30 server will be eligible to be replaced at the raid leader's discretion.
iv. After the raid is filled, wait list will be announced and anyone not already in the raid may add themselves to receive wait list DKP.
v. Members offline for more than 10 minutes will no longer receive wait list DKP.
G. Ventrilo Use
i. Ventrilo is required of all members who wish to raid on the 40man Roster, along with a working mic.
ii. Poor behavior on Ventrilo can result in guild removal.
H. DKP Rules
i. All DKP Rules can be found on the forums
I. Additional Guidelines
i. It is up to all LoA members to regularly check the website and forums for any changes to the guild rules or raid policy.
