Lords of Alexstrasza

Well it’s that time again… we’re at the end of an expansion and it’s time to finish off this chapter on a high note.  As with previous expansions, attendance is an issue.  LoA has experienced this before at the close of an expansion and we’ve always come back stronger! This time, as the saying goes, instead of “beating a dead horse” and waiting for Blizzard to come out with new content, the officers have decided that it would be best to cancel scheduled raids until patch 5.0. We will of course be starting a ‘Re-Roll’ thread for anyone who wish’s to change their main character for the expansion.

The officers (and I) want to thank EVERYONE for their hard work and dedication during this expansion. We once again proved that LoA is one of the, and continues to be one of the best, longest lasting guilds on Alexstrasza.  Everyone take a well deserved break… We look forward to seeing all of you again in MoP!!!

So it’s no secret that I’ve been AFK for what seems like FOREVER but that doesn’t mean I don’t care about LoA.  The officers and I have been busy talking about what changes we’d like to make to the front site/forums in the near future while we get ready for Pandas and Pokemon.  Some may have noticed that we’ve been testing a new application process to help make it easier to apply to LoA.  Recently we made some changes to the front site to not only show ‘Hot Forum Topics’ on the front site, but you are now able to log into the forums and now the WordPress site with your forum account.  This opens some interesting possibilities for us to allow our members to contribute to site content.  I’d also like to setup a gallery where members can upload RELATED (no ponies Rohan) pics to show off our awesomeness!  Lastly we’ve been looking into ways to integrate our Facebook, Twitter and WP sites together.  More to come on that later.  We’re looking at giving our front site and forums a face lift over the coming months so stay tuned for more info on that as well.  Possible design contests may be incoming!  Anyways, I just wanted to give you guys a heads up about all of these changes.  If you have any suggestions or would like to help feel free to leave a comment.  We’re always looking for an extra set of hands!
